Privacy notice

Visitors

There are no contact forms on the site at present. You contact a firm on its own website, and that firm's privacy notice applies to anything you send it. We hold no details about visitors beyond the analytics described below.

Listed firms, including sole traders

A listing holds a firm's trading name, website, the towns it covers, the boards and services it names and any prices it publishes, taken from public search results and the firm's own website. Where a firm is a sole trader, its trading name may be a person's name. We process this on the basis of legitimate interests: running a public business directory that helps people find a service. Any firm or sole trader can object and have the listing taken down within seven days: see Take down a listing.

Claims

When a firm claims a listing we keep the email address used and the changes made, so the listing can be maintained. This is kept for as long as the listing is claimed and deleted within 12 months of a listing being taken down.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking across sites.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Email office@deckingdirectory.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
